Our Personal Care Aide (PCA) Training Program at Clinton Institute is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed for a successful start in the personal care field. We are also pleased to offer an additional opportunity for students:
a completely FREE PCA Training Program, now available exclusively at our CarePro location in Westchester.
This program is approved by the New York State Department of Health (DOH) and provides high-quality training with no tuition, no fees, and no material costs.

Program Overview
Our PCA Training Program is a comprehensive course that equips you with the skills needed to provide exceptional care. The program includes both classroom instruction and hands-on practice. You will learn to assist clients with daily living activities, understand basic medical procedures, and develop effective communication skills to interact with clients and their families.
Basic Care Skills
Training on assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Admission Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in our Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program, you must meet the following admission requirements:
- High School Diploma or TASC (GED)*
- Wonderlic Scores: Quantitative 13 or above, Verbal 13 or above

*If you do not have a High School Diploma or GED, you are still able to register for classes at Clinton Institute by passing the entrance test. However, your options for financial assistance may become limited.
